Rural Portraits – PATREM

 

Devised in 2014 by the Agriculture and Food division of the MuCEM museum (Marseille), PATREM (Portraits of Players in Rural and Maritime areas) proposes every year, for upper secondary school students in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region of south-east France, to create portraits of players in rural and maritime areas by means of ethnographic interviews. The filmed and/or photographed portraits concern mainly professionals who are currently working.

Legta Carmejane, Digne-le-Chauffat: Vocational secondary school 5th form class in Landscaping, Vocational secondary school 5th form class in Natural and Rural Areas Management Works, and José Valabrègue, teacher of sociocultural education

Lycée Professionnel Beau-de-Rochas, Digne: Vocational secondary school 6th form class in Materials Maintenance, Clotilde Volle, teacher of applied arts, Jérôme Brochier, teacher of mechanical technology, Valérie Nikitas, teacher of arts/humanities and history, and Geneviève Jugy, school resource centre librarian
