Participants: 19 children from first-year infants class and 14 from immigrant families, their teachers & parents
A first half-day meeting with each class, in which the artist presented his work and the children presented one of their artistic works (puppet dance, praxinoscope)
Week devised on the principle of an expression workshop: to experiment with several means of creation with, as the guiding principle, the idea of traces and gathering.
Two collective moments: Wednesday morning walk around the town, gleaning and gathering various objects, sounds and images, making rubbings, taking photos, etc.
Presentation to close the week on Friday afternoon in the museum, with parents and children. Presentation of the week’s experiences by children around a mini-cabinet of curiosities, a piece of furniture that reflects the week, and a screening of images edited by Yannick Papailhau.
