An original publication is published to go with the exhibition. It is more like an artist’s book than a catalogue. Indeed, since the Berst gallery in Paris produced a quite complete catalogue of Perdrizet’s work last February, the Musée Gassendi chose to propose a more personal book to the people of Digne, more in keeping with the inventor’s personality. Among other things, the book includes a facsimile of Jean Perdrizet’s CV and of his work entitled Le Cerveau à eau, which he himself had tried to publish during his lifetime by selling it for 5 francs in Digne’s bookshops, as well as a text by Jean-Jacques Viton.
