Nuit des Musées [Museums Night] 2016
Musée Gassendi from 20:00 to 01:00 – Open to all, free of charge
20:00 – 21:00: LA CLASSE, L’OEUVRE follows in the vibrant wake of several artistic and cultural education projects of the Gassendi and Borrély lower form secondary schools. These experimental creative workshops result in subjective and collective appropriation of the museum’s works by the pupils, for presenting during the Nuit des Musées [Museums Night].
21:00 – 00:30: “INSTANTANÉ” PERFORMANCE BY THE ZUR GROUP
The Musée Gassendi is reinvented for an evening, in an ephemeral creation by the Groupe ZUR (Zone Utopiquement Reconstituée) which re-interprets forms and symbols, stories and legends, through consecutive phases of improvisation, writing, spatial (re)presentation and screenings. Guided by the place, or by the words and thoughts of the moment, these video artists and actors recreate a new Utopian Area in the museum.
